The frequency of smartphone launches has increased massively. Almost every week we hear about some new smartphone arriving in the market. While we have seen some impressive smartphones this year, many more are still yet to come. Here are a few smartphones that are expected to be announced in the coming few weeks in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Update to the most popular budget smartphone Redmi Note 3
, the new Redmi Note 4 is expected to arrive in India next month. The smartphone is already selling in China and comes with a 5.5-inch Full-HD 1920×1080 display with a 2.5D curved glass and a ten-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. There are two variants of the smartphone including 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage and one with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. At the back there is a 13MP camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), a dual tone LED flash and an f/2.0 aperture, while on the front, a 5MP unit. Other features include a fingerprint scanner, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8, and a metal body. Expect a price range of Rs 10,000-Rs 14,000 for the Redmi Note 4. LeEco Cool S1
LeEco collaborated with Coolpad this year and just a couple of days back announced the Cool S1 smartphone in China. The handset is rumoured to launch in India as well. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, a 16MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, 4K recording, and a dual-LED flash, and 8MP selfie camera. The handset comes with Harman Clari-Fi audio technology,USB Type-C connector, a fingerprint sensor, and well no 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include Android Marshmallow 6.0 with LeEco’s EUI and a 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Expect a price range of Rs 25,000-30,000. Honor 6x

back in October, the Honor 6X is a midrange device with a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with a 2.5D curved glass, an octa-core Kirin 655 processor. The smartphone is equipped with 12MP dual camera sensor on the back with 6P lens and phase detection auto-focus system. The variants include 32GB with 3GB RAM priced at CNY 999 (Rs 9,900), 32GB variant with 4GB RAM at CNY 1299 (Rs 12,900) and 64GB model with 4GB RAM at CNY 1599 (Rs 15,900). The smartphone is suppose to launch in India tomorrow at an event in New Delhi. Vivo V5 Plus Vivo launched
the V5 back in November and had announced the V5 Plus as well. While all the details are not out, the compant said that it will be launched in the country soon. It is said to be the first smartphone that will offer a dual-front camera setup. Rumoured specs include a Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options. Pricing could go as much as Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
