Ubisoft has revealed the list of games that the company will be showcasing at the upcoming E3 event. According to Polygon , Ubisoft will be showcasing Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Watch Dogs and South Park: The Stick of Truth, among other games. The company has also released a teaser video for its upcoming E3 presentation:

The video shows Ubisoft’s E3 2012 presentation host Aisha Taylor trying to convince Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot to let her return as the host again for E3 2013. If the video is anything to go by, Guillemot does agree to let Taylor host the event for this year. At the event, Ubisoft is also expected to show off a lot of its unannounced next-gen titles.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will undoubtedly be the show stealers this year. The two games are going to be the company’s flagship titles for the coming year – with one continuing the story in an epic saga and another being a completely new IP that will make its debut alongside the next-gen consoles.

Might end up being frighteningly analogous to the real world

Watch Dogs will probably be one of the main attractions for Ubisoft’s presentation

Watch Dogs is set in a world where everything is connected via a central network run by mega corporations that interfaces with the Internet. As the titular character, you play Aiden Pierce, a hacker who is out to fight the system and uses all the information that the network gives him to do so.

Ubisoft had released a trailer for the game earlier this month. It’s clear from the trailer that the gameplay is quite simply breathtaking. An open world action adventure game, with the city carefully detailed, it clearly takes a lot from the earlier Ubisoft game, Assassin’s Creed, in terms of both character movement and the way the narrative unfolds. In this case, you find yourself in a trenchcoat and guns to boot as you go about unravelling the network.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
