Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, dubbed the Defy History trailer. The trailer essentially shows off Ubisoft's new promotional campaign for the game, dubbed Defy History. As part of the campaign, you can be a part of a mural that depicts the pirate era by taking a picture of yours and getting your friends on Facebook to like it. If selected, professional painters will paint in fans' faces in the mural. To take part in the Defy History, go here. Check out the trailer:

Earlier this month, Ubisoft had released a video of the game that had commentary from Ubisoft's Ashraf Ismail. The video attempts to explain some of the things we saw in the gameplay video earlier during E3.

One of the most notable things to see in the video is the complete seamlessness when it comes to traversing from a town to a forest and then to a ship. All of this is done without any loading screens or cutscenes. The level that was shown in the video seems to be based on real-life events when the infamous pirate Blackbeard was being chased by the British.

Now be a part of pirate history

Just recently, Ubisoft had announced that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will not be released simultaneously with the console versions of the game. The PC version will be out a few weeks later. This comes as no surprise, since the PC version of every Assassin’s Creed game so far has been delayed.

"We're working hard on the PC version," Ismail said. "It's one of the main platforms we've worked on in the office ... For our PC fans, don't worry. The game on PC looks phenomenal."
