The Uber API has been out in the wild for quite some time now. And since its roll out, developers have been coming up with innovative ways to utilize the same by pushing for Uber rides (" Ride there with Uber ") from within their apps. However, things are now about to change as Uber has announced a new feature for developers called Uber Trip Experiences. Simply put, Uber Trip Experiences will make your Uber ride more enjoyable (provided you like such notifications) by allowing developers to plug in their services during your ride. And there are plenty of instances, which Uber claims these can be used for. Whether you are getting a ten minute long playlist from the Spotify app as your notification for your ten minute long Uber ride, or whether it is just the ability to turn on the AC when your heading back home after a long day at work, Uber’s idea does sound pretty interesting and handy. Still then, not everyone would be interested and ride-hailing service seems to have taken care of this as well. Uber takes care of this by using permissions, those that will need to be granted to the app by the user. So if you prefer a peaceful and relaxing ride back home, Uber will allow you to do that as well.
