Transcend has announced its solid state drives (SSD) have passed Microsoft Windows 7 WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) testing.

Windows 7 features advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved boot performance and SSD optimizations. Microsoft has tuned its latest OS to run faster on SSD drives, with built-in support for the TRIM command.

Now that Microsoft is launching its latest version of Windows operating system, Transcend users can freely use their solid state drives on Windows 7 computers without worrying about compatibility issues.”
