Transcend is adding to its already humongous range of flash drives, by launching the JetFlash 200. The portable flash drive has a couple of security softwares loaded onto it.

Portable and secure data
The company claims that the flash drive has a 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption that meets FIPS standards. The JetFlash 200 flash drive uses a USB 2.0 port and is said to have read and write speeds of 17 MB/s and 5 MB/s respectively.
The flash drive comes in three capacities of 4, 8 and 16 GB at Rs. 910, Rs. 1,380 and Rs. 2,570 respectively.
Our resident Hardware Ninja, Rossi, lives for speed - by uhh riding his bicycle. He's Tech2's utility man, dividing his time between cameras, software and intense bouts of Quake III. He's also a fan of all things obscure, case in point, Live for Speed (sic). Never heard of it? We rest our case. In his spare time he tries to teach our new joinees the tricks of the trade even though the blood sweat and tears, but give him a camera and all things forgotten.
