TRAFI, one of the most accurate and very few apps in the market to use real-time data, scientific algorithms and machine learning, has launched in Pune. The app has been available for Mumbai and Bangalore since this April but they recently announced the availability in the city of Pune.

TRAFI uses real-time data to develop local patterns of searching routes specific to that area and provide a richer experience with user generated content to plug-in any data that may be missing or updated. The app allows to reach for routes on buses, trains and metros along with timetables and real-time data of the arrival time and location of buses. The search results can be filtered all the way down to nearby stops with prompts to existing users to report “How often do you see the bus stop.” The app is available on both Android and iOS along with a web app for access on desktops. The app is tied up with PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) to offer analytics and fleet solutions after holding public beta tests to develop real-time data and usage of public transport. The real-time data for buses and metro in the city will be available after the beta test. The app is available on Play Store and Apple App Store, and you can go there and download the app and give it a spin if you are in Mumbai, Pune or Bangalore.
