Sony VAIO Pro 13 Touch (SVP1321WSNB) (8/10)
The Sony Vaio Pro 13 is available at an MRP of Rs. 74,990 which may feel steep for a Core i5 system, but we feel it’s a decent price point considering what is on offer: fast performance, great battery life, light weight, responsive keyboard and touchscreen. Sure we would have loved a larger capacity SSD and a less noisy fan when all cores kick in, but the advantages easily overpower these minor niggles. If you are a business user or someone who wants a light Ultrabook with a great battery life, the Sony Vaio Pro 13 is a great option.

Nokia Lumia 625 (6/10)
While the MRP of the Lumia 625 is Rs 19,999, you can find it online at varying price points depending on the colour you pick. We feel this is an expensive price for the phone especially since all you’re getting is a larger screen, without any increase in resolution and important features which have been sacrificed. We would recommend the Lumia 720 over the 625 any day for its better display, NFC, better front and rear camera - all of this in a lighter and much more compact body. There’s even support for wireless charging for those who want to get the most out of their Lumia device. We feel Nokia sacrificed way too much for the 625 and simply increasing the size of the display doesn’t warrant a higher price tag. This phone would do well under Rs 15,000 where it would replace the Lumia 620 but certainly not at its current price.
The shell is interchangeable and the buttons are nice to use
HTC Desire 600 Dual Sim (6.5/10)
It doesn’t seem like HTC has learnt from their past mistakes with the Desire SV. The Desire 600 is priced at an absurd Rs 26,990 which pits it against the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, Sony Xperia ZR and the LG Nexus 4 – all of which make a better buy. The Desire series has lost its charm from the glory days of the original, followed by the Desire S. The phone is very similar in specifications to the Galaxy Grand Quattro and we feel, should have been priced in the sub-Rs 20,000 price bracket. The Desire 600 is a good upgrade to the Desire SV, no doubt, but they seem to have gotten the pricing all wrong.
