Top 5 Sniper Rifles

If you love first-person shooters as much as I do, chances are, you have an affinity for a certain type of weapon over others. If you’re the up-close and personal types, you probably love high powered pistols, shotguns and submachine guns. I, on the other hand, am a bit of a recluse and like to keep some distance between others and myself; so stealth and sniping is right up my alley. For those of you who’re like me and love imbedding their foes little heads with high caliber bullets, here’s a list of weapons I love to snipe with:

Game - Unreal Tournament 2003
Origin
– A prototype introduced to the Liandri Corporation by a few of their best scientists. After spending long hours with high powered electrical generators, and after having half their staff electrocuted by accident (the Liandri Corp. doesn’t care too much about their employees’ safety) these scientists finally gave up on designing their own super-weapon and started praying to the Greek God, Zeus. A bolt of lightning hit the ground before them, and at the point of impact a weapon was found. The Liandri Corporation studied this weapon and started manufacturing them on a large scale.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

This gun isn’t like your standard sniper rifle; sniper rifles try really hard to keep their yielder hidden by using methods to suppress muzzle flash. The Lightning Gun leaves a large trail of electrical energy that can be traced back to the player with ease; so after a few shots you can be pretty certain that your enemies know exactly where you are. Don’t worry though, a few shots is all you really need; while just two body shots are enough to fry the f*** out of an enemy, just a single well placed shot to the head with this gun, will literally blow your enemy’s brains out! Learn to use this gun well and Zeus himself will bless you with unmatched fragging power.
