Top 5 Fashion Phones

There haven’t been too many updates in the style department of mobile phones, but a couple of new ones released recently, make this list worth a look.

Motorola RIZR Z3 (Rs. 13,500)
Motorola has finally stepped out of the thin clamshell line with the new aptly named RIZR—a slider RAZR with the same style statement of the RAZR series. The RIZR Z3 is a quad-band GSM handset with GPRS and EDGE network support. It has a 1.9-inch 176x220 display, a 2 megapixel digital camera, MP3/AAC playback, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo, USB 2.0, around 16mb of built-in memory and a microSD card slot. However, there is no FM in this phone.

SE Z610i (Rs. 16,000)
The shiny, mirror-finish clamshell Z610i has a futuristic ‘floating’ external display. It offers MP3/AAC playback and has a large internal screen, but sadly no FM radio. There is 16MB of phone memory and Memory Stick Micro (M2) expansion, a 2 megapixel digital camera and support for Bluetooth A2DP stereo.

Samsung E760 (Rs. 12,000)
This slick looking clamshell from Samsung features a silver focus with an offset clock dial and camera. The silver keypad on the inside is also a shade different. You have an MP3 player, a VGA camera, around 96mb of memory, but no card slot and no FM.

Nokia 7360 (Rs. 6,500)
Warm Amber is out, Coffee Brown is in. This new color has been receiving a decent amount of attention lately and I can see why. Besides the caffeinated look, the 7360 has a VGA camera, a music player, FM radio and Bluetooth. There’s only 4mb of built-in memory and no memory card slot.

LG Chocolate (Rs. 13,000)
The LG KG800 ‘Chocolate’ has touch-sensitive keypad and display that fades out when not in use, leaving only a rectangle around the OK button on a shiny, black surface. Specs cover MP3 playback, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video recording, and 128 MB on board memory with no card slot. The chocolate is getting a bit stale now, but hey, what else do you have?
