The festive season has started and various online retail stores are offering lucrative deals to their customers as part of the Great Indian Festival. This sale is an annual event that Amazon is attempting to hype up to the level of the western world's Black Friday sales. Either way, it's good news for customers as we benefit from massive discounts on various devices. For now, here are the smartphones with the biggest discounts on Amazon India, and if you're wondering, they're arranged in no particular order.
1. Moto G5 Plus
Released in April, the Moto G5 Plus is a great budget device. Running Android 7.0 with a planned upgrade to Android 8.0, the software is sure to remain updated for a while.
In terms of hardware, you get a Snapdragon 625, up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage. microSD cards up to 256 GB in size are supported.
Amazon is offering a discount of almost Rs 4,000. The device is now selling for Rs 12,999.
2. Asus Zenfone 3
Asus Zenfone 3, which was launched at a price tag of Rs 27,999, which later fell to Rs 22,999. Amazon is offering a discount of Rs 11,000 on the current price of the phone. The phone is available for Rs 11,999 on the website with a discount of 48 percent.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS display with 2.5D glass. Asus Zenfone 3 runs on a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It comes with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal memory that can be extended upto 2 TB using a micro-SD card and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It features a 16 MP rear and 16 MP front camera.
3. Lenovo Z2 Plus
Lenovo Z2 Plus is available at a 45 percent discount. The discounted price of the phone is Rs 10,999 after a discount of around Rs 8,000 on the current price of Rs 19,999. The Lenovo phone comes with a 5-inch HD screen that runs on a 2.15 GHz quad-core processor. It features a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone has a 3,500 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
4. LG G6 FullVision
The LG G6 which was launched earlier this year. The phone was launched in June with a price tag of Rs 55,000 in India but the phone is currently priced at Rs 33,990 after a discount of 38 percent, a decrease of around Rs 20,000.
It has a 5.7-inch bezel-less design display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The LG smartphone is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) supported by a 2.4 GHz Quad-core processor. The smartphone also features 13 MP camera with 8x Zoom and a 5 MP front camera. The phone is good, but it's no flagship, and at this price, a purchase is justified.
5. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime
Samsung Galaxy J7 prime, a smartphone with "Great battery Life" is on a 37 percent discount and is priced at Rs 10,590. The smartphone was launched with a price tag of Rs 18,790 and is currently priced at Rs 16,900.
Galaxy J7 Prime has a 5.5-inch Full-HD display and is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) supported by a 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor, features a 13 MP primary and 8 MP secondary camera and comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It is available in two colour variants and its memory can be expanded to 256 GB through an external microSD card.
6. Apple iPhone 6s
Apple launched the iPhone 6s in 2015 with prices starting at Rs 62,000 in India. The Apple iPhone 6s Plus started at Rs 72,000. The Apple iphone 6s 32 GB variant is currently priced at Rs 40,000 on the official website of the company. Amazon under the offer is offering the phone at Rs 29,999 after a discount of around Rs 10,000.
The iPhone features 4.7-inch 3D Touch-enabled Retina HD display running on Apple's A9 chip. It has a 12 MP primary camera and 5 MP front camera. The phone is capable of recording 4K videos at 30 fps and 1080p videos at 30 or 60 fps.
7. Google Pixel XL
Google Pixel XL can be bought at Rs 49,999 on Amazon. Google's phone was launched at Rs 76,000 in India and is available at a discount of 34 percent on the Amazon website. The discount isn't as heavy as Amazon is letting on, however, since you could pick up the device for around 54,000 anyway. The Google phone has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, runs on last year's flagship Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 821. The smartphone features 12.3 MP rear and 8 MP front camera. The smartphone is powered by 3,450 mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat 7.1.

8. Sony Xperia XA Dual
Sony Xperia XA with a borderless display was launched in 2016. The smartphone has a 5.0-inch display which makes it easy to hold in hand. It comes with 2GHz,octa-core MT6755 Helio P10 processor, dual SIM card support and 21.5 MP rear and 16 MP front camera. The phone is available at Rs 12,990 after a discount of 32 percent on the initial price of Rs 18,990.
9. Apple iPhone 7
Apple iPhone 7 comes with a 4.7-inch screen size and Apple's A10 chip. The iPhone 7 is available in two storage variants but the 32 GB variant has got the highest price cut. The 32 GB variant is available at Rs 38,999 after a price cut of 31 percent. The iPhonehone 7 is priced at Rs 49,000 on Apple's official website.
The 128 GB variant of the iPhone 7 has also got a price cut. The device is available at Rs 49,999. The phone is 128 GB variant is originally priced at Rs 65,200.
10. Apple iPhone SE
The 4-inch sized display iPhone SE is priced at Rs 17,999 after a 31 percent off on the initial price of Rs 26,000. The 128 GB variant of the phone is priced at Rs 29,000 after a discount of 14 percent. The iPhone was initially priced at Rs 35,000. All the colour variants are eligible for the discount.
