EA’s upcoming shooter, Titanfall, finally has a release date. The game will be hitting store shelves on March 14 for PC, the next-gen Xbox One and the current-gen Xbox 360. The game has been developed by Respawn Entertainment and was spearheaded by one of the co-creators of  Call of Duty along with other designers behind the franchise.

“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall,” said Vince Zampella, a Co-Creator of Call of Duty and co-founder of Respawn Entertainment. “The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fueling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype.”

In addition to the standard edition of the game, Titanfall will also be getting a Collector’s Edition, which will include an exclusive collectible 18-inch hand-crafted Atlas titan statue with diorama and battery-powered LED lighting, a full-size art book featuring more than 190 pages of concept art, and a full-size schematic poster of the Atlas titan.

Titanfall is set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war. Players are dropped in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied – featuring parkour-style wall running, massive double jumps and the ability to hijack titans, which are essentially giant robots. The freedom to shift back and forth between pilot and titan allows players to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation and extending the action vertically to new heights.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
