Looking to pick up tickets for Sachin Tendulkar’s 200th and final Test match at Wankhede stadium online? You might have to wait a while longer. Kyazoonga, the website that currently has 3,500 tickets for the match, crashed as the tickets went on sale at 11am today morning. At the time of writing this article, the site is still having problems opening and cannot be accessed via the mobile app either. The decision to sell tickets online was taken by the Mumbai Cricket Association to avoid the possibility of a stampede taking place at the ticket counters, according to reports.
Kyazoonga still down for the count
Tickets were supposed to be sold at three price points: Rs 500, Rs 1000 and Rs 2,500. There is, however, no way to find out where these seats are located as the site failed to load. The cause of the crash was attributed to heavy traffic. The site, via a tweet, said that it is facing is “seeing 5x the traffic the Olympics games saw and rising. Please bear with us.” Fans, disappointed by the crash, also turned to Twitter to express their ire. Take a look at what some of them have to say:

The three most trending topics on Twitter were about Tendulkar: #cricket, #sachinretires and West Indies, the opponent for his last test. Other crickets and TV personalities also turned to the social network to express their thoughts. Kevin Pietersen said that Tendulkar was the “undisputed Champion of Cricket #SachinTheGreat”, while Harsha Bhogle said, “You knew it was coming, it was inevitable, then why Sachin do you still produce this numbness?” Given the level of frenzy that the topic is creating, it is hoped that Kyazoonga can get its act together soon.
