Three Xiaomi smartphones belonging to the Redmi 7 series get certified at 3C

Since the model numbers begin with M19, we are likely to see the three devices release in 2019.


Its barely been a month since Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 series in India and it appears like the company is already begun work on the Redmi 7 series in China.

According to a report by Nashville Chatter, phones with model numbers M1901F7C, M1901F7E, and M1901F7T, have just been certified by China’s Compulsory Certificate (3C). The said model numbers have been approved with 5V/2A charging, which is a common feature on Redmi devices.

Since the model numbers begin with M19, we are likely to see the three devices release in 2019, given all current-year models’ nicknames begin with M18. Xiaomi skipped on launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in China and it appears like the Chinese smartphone maker might give the phone a skip this time around.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has revealed that it will be launching a new product in India tomorrow, that is 15 December. Xioami shared a post on its Twitter handle earlier today, which shows a view of a pretty blue beach through, what looks like a pair of sunglasses.

Xiaomi India has kept extremely mum about this product, so there is no buzz as to what the company may be launching tomorrow. The teaser does suggest that the product will likely be something along the lines of a VR headset.
