We doubt that many of you would have the kind of courage that Chloe Bridgewater had when she approached Google with a job application. She might have gotten the job as well, if her age hadn’t come in the way.
All of 7 years old, little Bridgewater was inspired to write the job application when her dad showed her how much fun it was at the Google office.
Andy Bridgewater, Chloe Bridgewater’s dad, doesn’t work at Google. He’s a sales manager at a refrigerator’s spare parts company. Little Bridgewater asked her dad about his work. When she found out what he did, she asked him if there was something else he’d rather be doing.

That was when he told his daughter about Google. He showed her photos of the campus, of go karts and slides and other fun thing that we’ve come to associate with Google.
Inspired, 7-year old Bridgewater penned a letter the “Google boss”, using her dad’s help of course. In the letter, she was as unafraid, charming and forthright about her situation and her future plans as only a 7-year old can be.
She said that she would either work in a chocolate factory or go swimming in the Olympics. She mentioned that she’d like to sit on the bean bags at Google and slide down slides and drive go karts. “My dad said that he will get me a computer one day”, she says, adding that she’s very good in class. She professes her love for robots and explains that her sister is also very clever, despite only being 5 years old.
Her inexperience in framing a letter for a job application is quite clear, and she says as much in the letter. This letter is extra-special to Bridgewater because, as she later explains, she’s only ever sent a letter to Father Christmas, no one else.
As luck would have it, Google CEO Sundar Pichai actually saw the letter and responded back. Business Insider has confirmed that Pichai’s letter is real.
my 7 yr old daughter wrote to the boss of Google asking for a job, she's so made up he replied! Thanks @sundarpichai pic.twitter.com/EMuANNHiVc

In his response, Pichai is very encouraging and promises to consider the girl’s application once her schooling was done. He also takes note of Bridgewater’s interest in robotics and computers.
Business Insider reports that Bridgewater’s daughter is now all fired up about working at Google! He adds that his daughter even wants to get on TV and use that to somehow find a way into Google.
