Thief gets new gameplay trailer

Square Enix has released a new video for the upcoming Thief, dubbed the Gameplay Trailer. The video shows protagonist Garrett running around stealing things in typical Thief fashion. According to the description of the video, it is meant to show all the pillars of the game’s gameplay in action—infiltration, theft and escape. Check it out:

The game will hit stores on February 25 and will be available on all platforms—PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The PC version of the digital deluxe edition, dubbed the Master Thief Edition , is currently available for pre-order.

The Master Thief Edition includes a digital copy of the official art book, a digital comic, a booster pack, the original soundtrack and an extra mission—The Bank Heist. The art book has a bunch of concept art. The digital comic will expand the world’s backstory. The booster pack has a bunch of in-game consumable items that can empower protagonist Garrett and hasten players’ progression through the game. The soundtrack is exactly what you think it is—a collection of the music features in the game.

Thief is coming to current-gen consoles too!

Check out Garrett’s badassery

The unimaginatively-named Bank Heist mission has you infiltrate the City’s most secure location—Stonemarket First Bank—to steal a coveted family heirloom called the Star of Auldale. The bank has a bunch of new gameplay mechanics where players will have to avoid and circumvent unique security measures that aren’t present anywhere else in the game. It also features unique loot, as well as some more universe-building backstory. The mission acts as a homage to the Bank mission in Thief 2: The Metal Age.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
