Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, has now said that he wants the iPhone 6 to come with a larger display. While attending the Apps World 2013 to deliver a keynote to investors, “The Woz” as he is popularly known, said that he “still like the iPhone best”.
However, Wozniak did say that he is attracted to Android smartphones and he thinks that Apple should address the growing demand for bigger screen size. While talking about this, he said, “At first, I bought Android phones [to] do personal experimentation and I didn’t like it, until about the Nexus One. There’s a few I’ve liked a little along the way, but when it came to the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note - these are pretty good phones.”
While talking about other competitors to the iPhone, like HTC’s current flagship, the One, and the Galaxy S4, he said, “My eye is drawn to the nice big glowing screen… I’d like a larger screen.” The Apple co-founder is not the only one who has been hoping for a larger iPhone for some time now. There have a number of rumours popping up about the company’s next iPhone, and the possibility of it coming with a 6-inch screen.

The clamour for a larger display, though, has still not found any official response from the company. While Apple is mum, analysts have predicted that the new handset will most likely come with a display ranging from 4.8-inches to 6-inches, according to the International Business Times. The report also states that various concept images have been surfacing that suggest the new handset will come with a larger screen in tow. This seems to fall some what in line with what we have heard so far, with earlier reports claiming that the new iPhone might be seen with a 4.8-inch screen.
From what can has been heard so far, it is speculated that the new iPhone 6 will come with some of the new features seen in the 5s, like the 64-bit A7 processor, the M7 graphics chip and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Apart from the known, it is also estimated that other features like NFC and 128GB of internal memory may be packing into the new model. There is no word about this from the company, though, nor is there any confirmation about when we will actually see Apple unveil the device.
