Lenovo has announced that the upcoming Lenovo P2 smartphone will go on sale at 11 January at 12:30 PM exclusively on Flipkart.
In terms of specifications, the highlight of the phone is its massive, 5,100 mAh battery. You also get a 5.5-inch Full HD Amoled display, a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variants are also expected.

On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front one. You also get dual-SIM support, a microSD card slot, FM Radio, 4G LTE support and more. The device will ship with Android 6.0 and presumably, Lenovo’s custom skin on top.
The smartphone was recently launched in China at a price of CNY 2,499 (around Rs 25,000). Its expected price in India is unknown at this time.
The predecessor of the P2, called the P1, boasted of a 5,000 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 615 and only 2GB of RAM. The P1 had originally launched for Rs 15,999.
