The Intex Cloud String HD is a dual-SIM, 4G-enabled handset with a 5 inch display for Rs 5,599

Intex has  announced the launch of its Intex Cloud String HD handset. The device is a dual SIM, 4G VoLTE enabled device with some very decent specifications for the price. In terms of specifications, the device will feature a 5 inch HD screen (1280x720), which translates to a PPI of 294. The front glass is said to be 2.5D curved glass and Intex was kind enough to incorporate a fingerprint reader within the device. The chipset uses a quad-core Spreadtrum processor at 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM. You get 8GB internal storage and support for up to 32GB micro SD cards. The Cloud String HD will also be a dual-SIM device. On the camera front, you get an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera will be based on the Samsung S5K3H5 sensor and feature an aperture of f/2.2. Included is a 2,200mAh battery. The device itself will run Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Intex Cloud String HD will come in two colours, black and white, and will be priced at Rs 5,599 at launch. The device will be a Flipkart exclusive. This isn’t Intex’s first handset with a fingerprint scanner though, that honour goes to the Intex Aqua Secure that was launched recently for Rs 6,499.
