2K Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming tactical shooter—The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. The trailer, dubbed the #YOLO trailer, explains in a tongue-in-cheek way that the game will have permadeath for your squad mates. This means that you will have to be careful when giving orders to your squad mates and try to not get them killed. Check it out:

Permadeath adds a whole new level of strategy to the game, as one wrong command could potentially kill a high level squad mate whom you’ve spent the last five missions leveling up. As the trailer says, “One bad leader can kill everyone”. The trailer then cuts to the leader giving a series of bad decisions while squad mates yell out “YOLO” and run to their deaths.

Earlier, 2K had released a trailer that showed off some of the tactical decisions that the player will be able to make . It also gives a good look at the interface. Developer 2K Marin has opted for a radial interface so as to make the game work better with controllers in mind. The radial menu essentially pauses the game and lets the player make tactical decisions such as laying mines, using psychic abilities or straight-out shooting things.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
