With the Great Online Shopping Festival underway in all earnest, we thought we’d hunt out the best tech deals from this year’s three-day long festival. We picked out everything from the latest smartphones to the best cameras, laptops and tablets, along with a few nifty gadgets

This e-tailer specialises in delivering products from the US to India. As such, its prices are slightly higher than most Indian retailers, but it does have the advantage of having products that have not launched in India yet.
64GB iPhone 5s at a discount
Here we found the 64GB iPhone 5S at a price of Rs 67,690, about Rs 6000 less than the official Indian price of Rs 73,500. Similarly, the 32GB Nexus 5 is available at a discount of around Rs 500. The site also has discounts on tablets such as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX (yet to launch in India), Dell Venue 8 Pro and Google Nexus 7.
Flipkart
A by-word for online shopping in India, Flipkart has some
great deals for mobiles phones. The Lumia 520, already a budget handset, has got a further price cut of Rs 1,000, and is now available
for a buck less than Rs 7,000. Other Lumia smartphones have also got discounts.
In terms of tablets, we found the 2012 Nexus 7 being sold for Rs 7,999, a price that’s hard to believe if you look at the specs of the Google tablet. The retailer is also offering a 15% discount on fourth-gen Apple iPads. The Intel-powered 8GB Asus Fonepad voice-calling tablet has got a 25 per cent discount and is now available for under Rs 12,000.
A mouthwatering DSLR deal on the 1100D
Flipkart is also offering big discounts for cameras with an up to 30 percent cut on DSLR and Point and Shoots. This Includes the likes of Canon’s EOS 1100D, available for Rs 20,242 along with a kit lens. Point and Shoots ranging from sub-Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000 are also up for sale as part of Flipkart’s GOSF celebrations. On purchase of select HP laptops, buyers will get a Rs 5,000 discount. In addition, accessories such as headphones, speakers, laptop cooling pads, mice, keyboards, camera accessories will net the buyers a discount of between 10 and 15 percent.
Amazon
Amazon is offering big discounts across all categories. One of the most eye-catching deals here is the 50 percent discount for external storage solutions. A
Sandisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I 64GB Class 10 MicroSD card has received a discount of 55 percent, and is now available for Rs 2,699. A 2TB Western Digital Elements USB 3.0 hard disk has been marked down by close to
Rs 3,000 due to the sale. It’s available for Rs 6,999.
Great price for a 2TB HDD
Amazon is also offering 15 percent discount on select
laptops and
tablets. An
Intel Haswell-powered Dell Inspiron 15 (3537) 15.6-inch notebook has got a discount of close to Rs 10,000 for a sticker price of Rs 44,999. With 6GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD, this is one of the best deals of the lot. Apple iPads have also been put up under a discount ranging between 15 to 30 percent. Infibeam
Infibeam has a great sale on some consoles, gaming accessories, components and games themselves. Let’s start with the Xbox 360 (250 GB) which is available for Rs 32,122
after a discount of close to Rs 3,000. This bundle also includes the Kinect motion controller. There’s also a discount on the Sony PS Vita, with the handheld
available for Rs 15,563 after a discount of more than Rs 1,000.
Big RAM, big discount
Infibeam has applied discounts to some gaming components as well, so if you are looking to build a new rig for the new year, we recommend heading here for some neat discounts. G-Skill’s Ripjaws X DDR3 16 GB RAM has received a discount of over Rs 3,500. An excellent deal if you are looking for a high-end PC setup. PSUs, gaming cabinets, gaming-specific mice and keyboards, different controllers all populate the GOSF section on gaming on Infibeam.
Cut-price handheld gaming
The retailer also has a host of home entertainment products with discounted price tags. LG’s 42-inch 42LA6620 3D Smart TV is available at a discount of 15 percent over its price tag of Rs 85,000. The highly-recommended Samsung UA60F6400AR 60-inch Smart TV has a discount of over Rs 20,000.
Croma
Electronic retail giant Croma also has a host of discounts at its online retail storefront. Last year’s super sleek Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is available for Rs 59,999
from a pre-discount price of Rs 84,290. If you are looking for an even smaller laptop which won’t break the bank, you can check out the
