The Motorola Moto G4 and G4 Plus have started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
The update includes all the expected Nougat features—this includes multi-window modes and Doze—as well as a couple of new MotoActions for “shrinking” the screen and tapping the finger print sensor to lock the screen.

The two devices were released in May this year and support dial-SIMs.
Both devices feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, rock a Snapdragon 617 and come with at least 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Both devices house a 3,000 mAh battery.
The Moto G4 is only available in 16/32GB internal storage variants with 2GB of RAM. The Moto G4 Plus is available in a 16GB/2GB, 32GB/3GB or 64GB/4GB storage/RAM configurations. The internal memory on both phones can be expanded by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Moto G4 features a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera while the Moto G4 Plus features a 16MP f/2.0 rear camera. Both phones feature a 5MP f/2.2 front camera.
The Moto G4 Plus is the only device of the two with a fingerprint sensor.
