This year Apple had one of the most extensive launches which included the new iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the new Apple Watch Series 2 . The company announced that it will finally discontinue the 16GB storage and introduced 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models. As data consumption and hardware performance is growing rapidly, the decision seems like the right way to go. While the company didn’t mention anything about the iPad at the launch event, the new storage configurations have silently arrived on all the current iPad models. All the base models of all the iPads now get 32GB of storage. The best part is that Apple will be selling them at the same price as the 16GB. The high-end iPad Pro models have also received some price cuts. To sum it up, there’s now only one iPad mini 2 (32GB) version for sale, only two iPad mini 4 options (32GB and 128GB). The 128GB variant of the iPad Pro is now $50 cheaper and the 256GB variation is $100 less than the previous price.
