If you’d like your PSP to give you the jitters, here’s some good news - using the ‘PSP Plus’ just introduced by Sony at today’s Tokyo Game Show 2008 event, PSPs will be able to support DualShock 3! The PSP Plus feature will be introduced in games like Resistance: Retribution, where owners of the PSP and PS3 will be able to use the DualShock 3 controller instead of the PSP’s analog stick.
To do so, you have to own a copy of Resistance 2. Just connect your PSP to your PS3 using the AV-output cable (which is featured in the PSP 2000 and 3000), and through Resistance 2, you’ll be able to switch on PSP Plus which will disable aim assist and alter the control scheme to suit the controller, rather than the PSP. We’ll get you more details on the same as soon as they’re out. Stay tuned to be updated on what’s going down at the Tokyo Game Show 2008 !
