Teewe, by Mango Man, has announced the launch of the Teewe app for Windows 8.1. Recently, Mango Man had launched the Teewe 2 dongle that lets you stream media at Rs 2399. It also had an app available on the Google Play Store and App Store. Similar to the Google Chromecast , Teewe lets you stream content from Android, iOS, Mac and Windows systems. Given that Windows 10 would release in a little over a month, it might be a decision to cater to the presence of Windows 8.1 devices before releasing an app for Windows 10.  The Teewe app is a companion app for the Teewe HDMI dongle. In addition to being priced lower than Google Chromecast, Mango Man’s Teewe also provides 10am to 10pm support for any local customer assistance. The Chromecast lookalike device comes with two months of free 20GB content for Airtel broadband users as well as access to premium ErosNow content. Teewe 2 is powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 Processor along with a quad-core GPU and 1GB of DDR 3 RAM. The device can work with any TV which has an HDMI Port and needs a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connection to stream online content.
