TCL launches the L55P1US in India, a 51 inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV for Rs 48,990

TCL launched a new 51-inch smart TV in India available exclusively on Amazon.in. The TV has a 4K Ultra HD screen with a display resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. It is powered by a MS68A-AP processor, and can playback videos in a variety of commonly used file formats. The thickness is just 69.6 mm, and is designed to take up less space. The screen offes a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and a aspect ratio of 16:9 and offers viewing angle of 178 degrees. The refresh rate is 60 Hertz. Content from any source can be viewed in HD with the TCL Creative Pro 4K UHD Upscaling Engine. The home screen can be personalised to allow users to place their most viewed channels, services and devices on the main screen. This means a reduction in the time taken to navigate through complicated menus. Applications from the Android OS can be installed. The television ships with an exclusive video content service, called GoLive. There is an nScreen app by TCL that allows consumers to use their smartphones as remotes for the TV.
