TCL launches new range of LED TVs starting from Rs 13,990 and a TCL 562 smartphone

After announcing its entry into the Indian smartphone market, TCL has announced its new range of LED TV series which will be available in the country exclusively from Amazon India. The new TV range is currently available for pre-booking. The company also announced the TCL 562 smartphone making it the second handset offering. Praveen Valecha, regional director – TCL India, said, “The number of consumers adopting smarter, wireless technology in the country is on the rise and we anticipate a huge increase in smartphone users. TCL TV range starts at Rs 13,990 and mobile range starts at Rs 7,499." TCL D2900 series This series includes two models in 40-inch and 32-inch screen sizes which feature an ASIC processor along with an LED panel with 1080p full HD resolution. Both the TVs also feature 2x USB and 2x HDMI ports. The company also mentions a number of other features like all time Running Dynamic Skin color and Blue color control, Black level stretch for Contrast level enhancement, 3D Chrome Filter and 3D Adaptive de-interlacing to reduce Mosaic Noise. The integrated speakers also come with Dolby surround sound for high quality audio output. The TCL 32-inch D2900 and 40-inch D2900 Full HD series will be available in India priced at Rs 13,990 and Rs 20,990 respectively. TCL P1 series This series consists of two models, a 48-inch curved Full HD smart TV and a 43-inch flat UHD Smart TV. The P1 series features a slim design with an overall thickness of 69.6mm. The smart TV comes equipped with functions such as screen mirroring, built-in-Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct and an App Store. The TV sets will also feature the nScreen application that will let you use your smartphone or tablet as a remote control. TCL 43-inch flat Ultra HD TV is priced at Rs 31,990 while the 48-inch curved TV Rs 37,990. The TCL 562 is an Android 6.0 smartphone powered by an octa-core (quad-core 1.8GHz + quad-core 1.0GHz) MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, a 5MP front camera, a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash. Connectivity comes through its Cat4 LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.2. The TCL 562 smartphone will be available at a special launch price of Rs 10,990 while the company’s debut smartphone , TCL560 is already available at Rs 7,999 on Amazon.
