Tata Docomo, in a statement announcing that they’ve selected Apalya Technologies as their exclusive Mobile TV partner, also mentioned a loaded sentence. “Tata Docomo today became India’s first private telecom operator to offer 3G services.” They had said earlier that they had plans to roll out 3G services in all 9 circles by this Diwali which include Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh-Chattisgargh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh (West), Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra.

As part of this announcement, Tata Docomo has also said they’re pairing up with Apalya Technologies to provide Mobile TV via Tata Docomo’s 3G service.
