OMG!!! Stop the presses, Take -Two is being sued again … *yawn*. This time round however, it’s not related to any sort of a drink or random acts of violence towards hookers; it’s in fact the old tried-and-tested “they used my likeness without paying me well” suit. Roger Hill (who?), who played Cyrus in the movie ‘The Warriors’ is suing Take-Two for using his likeness in their beat ‘em up of the same name. It seems the company did approach Hill initially, but the sum they were offering seemed too low for him, so he’s now planning to sue them for 250,000 USD because they went ahead and used his likeness in the game anyway. Take-Two feels they’ve done no wrong as they have a “valid third-party right” to use his likeness and Cyrus’s character. I wonder how these guys will stay in business if they keep getting sued like there’s no tomorrow.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
