Swiss luxury accessories manufacturing company TAG Heuer has launched Connected Modular 41 smartwatch. The smartwatch is an update to the previous TAG Heuer model called the Connected Modular 45 which was launched in 2017.
The updated version of the watch is more powerful and cheaper as compared to the previous one. The company has reduced the watch face to 41 mm instead of the previous 45 mm launched in the previous year. The price starts at $1,200 with a decrease of $350 from the previous model.
The watch has been developed in collaboration with Intel and Google and comes with several improvements compared to the older 45 mm version. It features AMOLED 390x390 pixels display with 326 ppi resolution and improved brightness to 350 nits. The Connected Modular 41 smartwatch comes with 8 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM. The Modular 45 came with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. It also features a GPS and NFC sensor that accepts contact-less payment via Android Pay.
TAG Heuer Connected Modular 41 is available in seven standard models with an option to customise the straps and lugs. Nine new leather strap colours have been introduced apart from the existing pink, blue and white. The dial is customisable to and features dials from the Tag Heuer Studio which runs on the Android Wear operating system.
The watch is water-resistant up to 50-meters and supports Android and Apple devices running on Android 4.3 or later and iOS 9 or later versions of the device.
