Swipe F-Band fitness tracker launched in India at Rs 1,499

Swipe has entered the Indian wearable market with the F-Band fitness tracker. Priced at Rs 1,499, Swipe’s new wearable will go up for sale starting January 7 on Snapdeal. Just like most of the smart trackers available in the market, the Swipe F-Band lets users track activities all day. It tracks your steps and also tells how many calories you’ve burned. The app also monitors your sleep. Needless to say, it connects to your smartphone and one will need the F-band app that stores and provides all the information. The F-Band fitness tracker comes with a display, which makes it look like a smartwatch rather than a fitness band. It connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. The F-Band is fuelled by a 55mAh battery that promises up to seven days of battery life on a single charge. Though it is priced at Rs 1,499, the first 100 customers can grab the F-Band at Rs 1,299. The wearable comes dipped in blue and red, and is available exclusively via Snapdeal. With the F-Band, Swipe will be competing in the smart band market with other budget players such as Micromax’s Yu, Xiaomi and others. Recently, Huawei finally made available the  Honor Band Z1 in India via  Flipkart for Rs 5,499. The smartwatch promises three days of battery life and works with iOS and Android.
