Over the last four weeks, the constant debate over the Internet has been around the #SaveTheInternet theme. In order to support net neutrality, Trai (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) published a consultation paper on its website asking users to voice out their opinion regarding the same in India.
While tech enthusiasts and netizens were already in support of net neutrality, it was the AIB video that really got the masses involved. AIB created a nine-minute long ‘Save the Internet’ video on net neutrality, which states that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet equally, not discriminating or charging differential by user, content, site, platform or application.
The responses received by Trai in a past four weeks have been overwhelming. More and more people are logging onto www.savetheinternet.in to support net neutrality. Today, April 24 is the last day and your only chance to voice out your support on net neutrality and also, save the internet.
