StumbleUpon, has launched Stumble Video , that finds personally relevant videos with no need for keyword searches, scrolling through screens, or additional downloads.
“Stumblers” can discover video clips, drawn from sites like YouTube and Google Video, and rate online videos by clicking a ’thumbs up’ or ’thumbs down’ button. With each rating, Stumble Video better understands what types of videos users like (or dislike) and delivers video content best matched to their personal preferences. In the end each user has their own personal video channel.
“People demand instant access to online video content that’s personally gratifying, and they don’t want to spend all day looking for it. That’s where StumbleUpon fits in,” said David Feller, Vice President, Marketing at StumbleUpon. “Stumble Video allows people to discover great videos they would likely never find using traditional keyword searches. StumbleUpon lets users ‘Stumble’ the Internet for websites, videos, pictures, games etc., rate and review websites and online videos, keep an online history of discovered sites and content, and easily share the recommended sites with friends and other Stumblers.
