What happens when two great platformers join hands? An absolute riot and a game nearly every one of us would like to play, that’s what. There’s a new video out called ‘ Mario with a Portal Gun’ that makes us all wonder just what might have been.
The Princess Peach is a lie
In the video, Mario uses the Portal Gun from Valve’s Portal series (Portal 2 is an amazing game, read our review to find out why) to get past most of the obstacles in his way. While it does look like the gun would make the game a bit too easy, the ensuing hilarity would make it all worth it in our opinion.
Anyway, check out the video below and let us know what you thought of it, and whether you’d play this game if it ever came out. If not, would an FPS variant pique your interest more? We just hope some indie dev takes this idea and runs with it because we certainly would like to check this out.
