If this then that ( IFTTT ) is an internet service that channels information or triggers from one channel and turns it into commands in another. It allows users to add functionality to services.
IFTTT has been adding connections on its website for the Force Band. Most of the devices support either the ‘Force push’ or the ‘Force pull’ gestures. This allows users to add Force Band functionalities to the devices around the real world, simulating Jedi like powers. “The Imperial March,” the signature theme music for Darth Vader, plays on supported speakers with a Force push gesture. The Force Band can be used on Philips Hue bulbs to change them to a random colour, and LIFX lights to make them pulse magically.
The Belkin Wemo switch allows connected devices to be turned on or off from anywhere, and the switch can now be toggled with the Force Band. The force can be used to trigger a phone call, post Jedi Wisdom message from Star Wars on Twitter, and even post “may the force be with you” on Slack. Adafruit I/O switches can be triggered with a force pull. The Musaic HiFi system can be paused with the Force.
