Soon after K4 Note India launch, Lenovo launches the K5 Note in China

The dust on Lenovo’s K4 Note has barely settled, and the company has revealed its successor. Lenovo has launched the K5 Note in China. Dipped in gold and silver option, it will be available via flash sale for a price of ¥1099 which translates to around Rs 11,300. While the nomenclature makes it look like a successor, it could just be a variant specifically for China, considering both devices feature almost same specs and K4 Note hasn’t been launched in China. The Lenovo K5 Note poses in an all-metal body. It sports a large 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, similar to the one found on the K4 Note. It gets a 13MP rear snapper with PDAF autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera. It also packs in Dolby Atmos powered speakers. It comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner as well. Under the hood, it gets a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and 2GB of RAM. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It runs 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of company’s Vibe UI on top. The device comes with support for 4G LTE along with other connectivity options such as GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB. Interestingly, the company just released the K4 Note featuring same display, 3GB RAM and a fingerprint scanner. The device is aimed primarily for multimedia consumption. It comes with a curved back and is 3.8mm in thickness. It is powered by a octa-core 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 processor and comes equipped with dual front firing speaker by Dolby along with Dolby Atmos surround sound.
