Sony India has opened up sales for the latest flagship smartphone, Xperia XZ. The flagship is available on Amazon at Rs 49,990, down from the MRP of Rs 51,990.

Sony India has opened up sales for their latest flagship smartphone, Xperia XZ. The smartphone is available on Amazon for Rs 49,990, down from the MRP of Rs 51,990. In addition to the online store, the device will be available for buying through offline retail stores across the country. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with an effective density of about 1920 x 1080 and 424-pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with an Adreno 530 GPU couples with 3GB RAM. The XZ runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box with a planned Android Nougat 7.0 update for a later stage. The device comes dual SIM option (hybrid SIM slot) and 64GB of internal storage. Also, you can add a microSD card up to 256GB to the flagship device to increase the storage space. The highlight of the device is the 23MP camera module at the back with phase detection and laser autofocus at f/2.0 with LED flash. The camera can shoot 4K videos and packs a 13MP, f/2.0 front-facing camera. All the essentials like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA support, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, VoLTE support and Type-C reversible USB port with USB 2.0 standard are available in Sony Xperia XZ. Also it packs in a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, barometer, compass and colour spectrum sensors. XZ will be powered by a non-removable 2,900mAh Li-ion battery.
