Sony has just announced its latest smartphone in a long time - the Xperia XA Ultra - which will be a large 6-inch smartphone with a 1080p display panel. The price of the device isn’t yet out and it is expect to hit the markets sometime in July. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra houses the MediaTek Helio P10 chipset which has an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz along with a Mali T860 GPU. This is paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable using a microSD card slot. Cameras on the Sony Xperia XA Ultra are interesting. While the rear camera will be a 21.5MP sensor with hybrid AF, the front-facing camera on the XA Ultra will be a 16MP sensor sporting one, which will also feature optical image stabilisation. Since the Oppo F1 Plus, this will be the second camera we will be seeing with a 16MP front camera on board. The phone is expected to come with a 2-day battery life according to Sony’s claims, with its 2,700mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XA Ultra is expected to come in black, white and lime gold colours.
