Sony has launched a new smartphone in India with a 5-inch screen and a quad-core processor. The Sony Xperia C is priced at Rs 21,490 and is a dual-SIM smartphone.
The smartphone has a 5-inch screen with qHD resolution at 960 x 540 pixels. It has unto 4GB memory and comes with support for a microSD card with a limit of 32 GB.
The smartphone supports 3G and 2G connectivity. It runs Android 4.2.2 build of Jelly Bean.

As far as the processor is concerned it has a 1.2 GHz MTK6589 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM.
According to Sony, the smartphone offers upto 10 hours of talktime on 3G and 2G.
It has an 8 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, flash and support Full HD video recording. The front camera is a VGA camera.
Sony is offering headphones worth Rs 1,490 with the Xperia C for free.
Sony has also tied up with Airtel to offer 1GB of free data usage for two months for this device. The smartphone however has been available on e-commerce websites such as Flipkart , Infibeam , Homeshop18 for under Rs 20,000.
