Sony lists free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for November

Sony has announced a new set of games for subscribers to its PlayStation Plus service on the PlayStation Blog. While the company had earlier announced that Crysis 2 will be one of the games for November, it has now announced the rest of the games that will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free.

Along with Crysis 2 on November 7, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, Cubixx HD on the same day. Along with this, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition and Bulletstorm will still be available for download from the previous month. The games that will be removed on the same day are Just Cause 2 and Borderlands.

Ratchet and Clank All 4 One is an action/ platformer game that allows players to play as Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark and Dr Nefarious in Co-operative gameplay. In four-player story quests, you must work together using each character’s unique skills as well as sharing weapons between players in order to solve puzzles and eliminate the opposition.

Crysis 2 will be headlining the PlayStation Plus free games list in November

Cubixx HD is a fast paced puzzle game that has 50 arcade levels to work through along with 50 challenges to test your skills. There are also 150 online leaderboards available, or you can join forces with your friends in the seven-player co-operative mode. There is also a seven-player deathmatch.

Originally released in March 2011, Crysis 2 is a visually stunning, high-concept FPS with a gripping storyline written by sci-fi veteran Richard Morgan.

Set in the year 2023, three years after the events of Crysis, you’ll find yourself in control of a Force Recon Marine named ‘Alcatraz’, who gains ownership of the Nanosuit 2.0 from Army Delta Force officer Laurence “Prophet” Barnes, who you will remember from Crysis.

Last month’s games included Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Bulletstorm, and Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition puts you in the shoes of Chris Redfield and Sheva – who work for BSAA, an international group dedicated to dealing with bioterrorist threats. The game has you travel to Africa to deal with an outbreak of a virus similar to the events of Resident Evil 4, but altered. The game has you mostly attempting to stop the evil plans of the Umbrella Corporation, along with deal with characters like Albert Wesker and Jill Valentine.

Bulletstorm stars two former black ops soldiers/assassins, Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato, members of wetworks unit Dead Echo. The game is known for its extremely vulgar and crude sense of humour, along with a great emphasis on free-form FPS (first person shooter) gameplay where you can pull off different skills and combine them to get awesome looking kills. Players are rewarded for gruesome and creative kills. The rewards can be spent on upgrading your weapons and skills.

Hell Yeah! Wrath of The Dead Rabbit is a sidescrolling platformer where the player character – Ash – must repair his reputation in Hell by finding the monsters that know about his deep dark secret (that he likes to take a bath with a rubber duck) and destroying them in a variety of over-the-top ways. Along the way, you will get loot and you have the ability to use your money on getting upgrades for weapons and abilities.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
