Sony expected to unveil Xperia Z3 smartphones, a tablet and a smartwatch at IFA 2014

With IFA 2014  to start in five days in Berlin, reports of probable launches have already started to come out. According to the latest reports, Sony is expected to launch three smartphones, a thin water-proof tablet, successor to the Sony SmartBand and an Android Wear smartwatch on September 3 at its IFA press conference.   The devices expected to launched by Sony include the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia E3, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, an Android Wear smartwatch, and the SmartBand Talk.   Back in July, we had seen some leaks of the Xperia Z3 . Details of the Sony Xperia Z3 are out and most of the features are similar to the **Xperia Z2,** which it self came out **earlier this year** . It is most likely expected to have the Snapdragon 801 SoC featuring a 2.5GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. The 5.2-inch full HD screen will have a Triluminous display.   On the camera front, the Xperia Z3 is expected to sport the 20.7MP sensor that was there in the Xperia Z2 as well. It will come with a 3,100 mAh capacity battery which is slightly below the 3,200 mAh seen on the Xperia Z2.   Apart from the flagship Xperia Z3, you will also get a compact version of it in the form of the Z3 Compact sporting a 4.7-inch 720p display. The budget oriented Xperia E3 will sport a Snapdragon 400 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core  processor and a 4.8-inch display.   Apart from the smartphones, Sony is expected to release an 8-inch  full HD Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact which will be just 6.3mm thick.   We will have to wait till September 3 to get more confirmed details.
