According to a tweet by prolific tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), what looks like an official communique, Sony is expected to launch the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium. Although Blass has followed up with another tweet saying, “Doesn’t seem to be an official account, but does jibe with what I’ve heard.” The alleged Xperia Z5 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch full HD display which is similar to what we have seen with the Xperia Z3+. The Xperia Z5 Compact will be a 4.6-inch HD variant of the flagship phone. Finally, the Xperia Z5 Premium is expected to come with a 4K 2160p UltraHD display, making it the first 4K display sporting smartphone, if it is indeed released. The document also states that all the three phones will come with a 23MP rear camera with a fast f/1.8 aperture and a sensor size of 1/2.2-inch. The rear camera will support 192 phase-detect auto-focus points with speedy AF of 0.1 secs according to Sony. All phones are also expected to come with a fingerprint sensor. We will find out the truth on September 2 according to the leaked document. Earlier this month, we had seen **leaked images** of the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact. A report by TechnoBuffalo states that the expected Xperia Z5 will pack in a 5000mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processor and a 20.7-megapixel camera. While the Z5 Compact should include most of the same specifications and features, packed into a smaller, yet thicker body.
