Earlier known as the PlayStation Phone, the Xperia Play makes a splash in Indian waters.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is in India, too

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, or the PlayStation Phone as it was earlier known, has finally been released in India after months of anticipation. The first PlayStation Certified smartphone, the Xperia Play will be able to play PlayStation One games, which are currently exclusive to the handset via the Android Market. The slide-out gaming controls hope to enhance the mobile gaming experience. Check out the specs of the Xperia Play:

The Xperia Play’s official MRP is Rs. 35,000 and the MOP Rs. 32,000, but some retailers like Flipkart are selling the phone for a price of Rs. 30,999.
