South Korea-based, popular handset manufacturer, Samsung Electronics have just hit it big with their coveted Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones.

So far, 10 million Samsung Galaxy S IIs sold, reveals Samsung

South Korea-based, Samsung Electronics have hit it big with their Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones, which released in April, this year. The second largest handset manufacturer in the world, after Nokia, now claims that the Galaxy S II has already sold over 10 million handsets, worldwide. The growth, reportedly hasn’t been one in a vacuum. In July, i.e. barely two months into its sale period, the Galaxy S II had sold 5 million handsets. According to a report on CNET UK , however, the 10 million number possibly refers to the channel sales, and not individual buyer numbers. Simply put, it is being stated that Samsung has shipped 10 million Galaxy S II handsets to retailers, worldwide.

The Galaxy S II got itself some rave reviews, including the one from us for its seamless performance on several key counts, like its power-packed dual-core processor, an impeccable camera and style encased in its slim body. However, the only thing that could possibly bother Samsung and the sale of its line of products, including the Galaxy S II would be its current lawsuit with Apple , which has taken a global form now.
