Snapdeal, Flipkart and Amazon are among the frontrunners offering discounts on nearly everything under the sun. Here are some of the interesting deals offered by the online portal. 1. iPhone 6  Apple’s smartphones from last year – iPhone 6 – is now available at a discounted price on Snapdeal. With the new iPhone 6s due to release later this week, the prices of the previous editions are bound to fall. The iPhone 6 is available for  Rs 36,999 instead of Rs 56,000  for the 16GB variant. Similarly, while the 64GB variant is priced at Rs 45,999 instead of Rs 61,900. Given that the new iPhones will start of at exorbitant prices in India, purchasing the iPhone 6 is not such a bad idea.   2. Xiaomi Mi Pad   Xiaomi’s tablet, the Mi Pad will now be available at a price of Rs 9,999 instead of Rs 12,999 via Snapdeal. The MiPad has a 7.9-inch Sharp display with an eye-popping resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a pixel density of 324 ppi. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by a 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU and runs on Android-based MIUI ROM optimised for tablets. It is paired with 2GB of RAM. The device has an 8MP rear camera with a Sony BSI sensor along with a 5MP front-facing camera. It has an internal storage of 16GB and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

3. LG Google Nexus 5 16GB + Google Chromecast Black

Among the deals being offered by Snapdeal, one that caught our attention is the LG Google Nexus 5 along with a Chromecast. The two products are available as a pair at Rs 15,999 which would otherwise be priced at Rs 32,998. That’s a discount of 50 percent on the devices. Highlights of the smartphone include  2 GB RAM & 16 ROM, 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor along with 8 MP Rear & 1.3 MP Front Camera.

4. Xiaomi Mi 4i 16GB

The Xiaomi Mi 4i 16GB will now be available at a price of Rs 9,999 instead of Rs 12,999 via Snapdeal. With the Mi 4i, Xiaomi is offering a phone that has premium specs, a great display, good camera, good battery life at an affordable price point. There has been no compromise on the design aspect as well and although it is a 5-inch device, you can easily use it single-handedly for most use cases.

5. YU Yunique 

Via the Snapdeal sale, the YU Yunique 8GB is shown to be priced at Rs 4,999 which was previously available at Rs 6,999. What is astonishing is that the phone itself was priced at Rs 4,999 at the time of launch . This seems to be a tactic of luring in customers by pricing the device higher and then offering it at a discount.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 4.7-inch display with a 280×720 pixel resolution. Under the hood is a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with CyanogenMod 12.1 on top, the device would include an internal storage at 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card. The dual-sim handset would be equipped with an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera.

6. Toshiba Canvio Basic 2 TB External Hard Disk

One of the highest discounted hard-drives is the Toshiba Canvio Basic which includes a storage space of 2TB. The device is available for a price of Rs 5,675 instead of Rs 15,790. The device is offered at an almost 64 percent discount and comes with 3 years manufacturer warranty as well. 7. JBL SB350 Soundbar with wireless Subwoofer

If you’re a music fanatic, then the JBL SB350 Soundbar is for you. The device is available at a price of Rs 14,990, which otherwise on any given day will be priced at Rs 49,990. This implies that the Snapdeal sale is offering consumers a discount of 70 percent.
