Snapdeal 3-day Unbox Diwali Sale kicks off 12 October offering big discounts

After the last 5-day sale conducted just a week ago, Snapdeal is back with another sale that starts from 12 October through 14 October. Called the Unbox Diwali Sale, Snapdeal is expected to offer some big deals offerings discounts up to a hefty 70 percent. The sale starts today with some exciting deals across categories like appliances, electronics, gadgets, mobile phones and even on home furniture and FMCG products. Shoppers will get an additional 10 percent discount when they shop using a State Bank credit card or debit card. Bajaj Finserv is also offering some zero payment deals on select categories. Other categories like clothing and accessories also pack in sizeable discounts. Snapdeal under its Unbox Diwali Sale is also offering buy home decor, and furnishings which is good for those who have moved into a new home. The e-commerce giant’s previous sale reportedly churned out a Rs 1 crore turnover on day 1 itself. There are plenty of deals in the smartphones, but with the Apple’s latest iPhone 7 models, there seemed to be some setbacks. NDTV reported that Snapdeal did not offer the advertised Rs 10,000 cashback on American Express credit cards despite running full page ads in newspapers to promote its sale. Customers who waited up late for the sale took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
