Sin City Game(s) Announced

Right from the time Sin City hit theaters in 2005 the movie practically begged to be made into a video game thanks to its over the top violence, hard ass heroes and tripped-out stylized visuals synonymous with most of Frank Miller’s works. And now thanks to developer Red Mile Entertainment (Gripshift, Jackass: The Game) we’re getting our wish since they’ve acquired the rights for an exclusive “multi-year, worldwide” license that’ll allow them to develop games based on that IP.

Here’s what Red Mile’s CEO, Chester Aldridge, had to say on the deal, “Sin City enjoys a broad and devoted following. Its crime noir settings, richly detailed characters, hyper-real action sequences, and engaging stories provide an outstanding groundwork for video games.”

We’ll hit you with details as and when we hear of anything.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
