If you wanna get a taste of what FASA’s new cross-platformed shooter Shadowrun has to offer, you’ll be able to download a demo of the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 6th onwards. The game will be the first to bridge the gap between PC and a Console, by allowing allowing crossplay between the PC and Xbox 360. There is no word of a demo for the PC though, so PC gamers might have to wait a while.

The game has already gone gold on platforms and will be available 1st June onwards. The date was delayed because FASA felt that the game might be overshadowed by the Halo 3 Beta program. Here’s what one of FASA’s representative had to say on their forum :
“We’d rather release the demo at a time when players can focus their attention and time on Shadowrun, i.e., not in the middle of the Halo 3 beta.
We hear that’s a pretty cool game, too.”
The demo will contain three training chapters, solo/bot play modes, one map, two races (elf and human), four spells, three gadgets and six weapons.
