Shaadi.com Announces Wedding Directory

Online matrimonial service provider Shaadi.com has announced the launch of an online wedding directory called Shaadi Pages that provides a database containing all wedding requirements.

Shaadi Pages has been created to help couples plan their wedding with ease. Through the site, couples can enter the type of service or keyword they are looking for, along with their city, locality, pin code or vendor name and the appropriate matches will be generated.

Commenting on the potential of this venture Vibhas Mehta, business head, Shaadi.com said, “With Shaadi Pages, we plan to go a step forward and escort customers through the entire process of making their wedding a memorable event.”

Shaadi Pages has over 10,000 listings spanning over categories such as astrology services, event services, music and entertainment, beauty and grooming, fashion and clothing, decorations, food and beverages, travel and tours and other related services like invitation cards, wedding planners and so on. The site also serves between couples and wedding related service providers.

“We see great potential in the wedding industry in India which is currently pegged at about Rs 75,000 crores, growing at a phenomenal rate of 25% each year, and are extremely optimistic about the success of Shaadi Pages as a wedding directory,” said Mehta.

Shaadi Pages is targeting audiences in India, USA and UK.
