The Betrayal is the next chapter in hero Ratonhnhaké:ton’s war against the mad King George Washington, taking gamers to Boston to find an unlikely ally. Ratonhnhaké:ton will discover a new ability – the power of the eagle, which empowers him to quickly fly across short distances and hone in on enemies for precise and brutal assassinations.

The final episode, dubbed The Redemption, will be out on April 23 for the Xbox 360 and PCs, and April 24 for PlayStation 3.

Looks like we’ll get to stab the first president of the United States

Get ready to face the betrayal (see what I did there?)

In this alternate universe, the events of Assassin’s Creed III never happened and a younger, inexperienced and thoroughly confused Connor is thrust into what is described as a “torturous, yet occasionally blissful, walking dream". As revealed earlier, Connor must end George Washington’s tyrannous reign as a monarch over America.

To combat Washington, Connor must master new abilities. These include the power of the Bear, the power of the Eagle, the power of the Wolf, Warpaint and Alpha of the Pack. The power of the Bear fills Connor with the strength and fury of a bear. The power of the Eagle delivers a burst of speed, which empowers Connor with blinding agility. The power of the Wolf lets Connor become undetectable by adopting the camouflage of a wolf. Warpaint is a symbol of power and courage, and enhances Connor’s abilities. Alpha of the Pack lets Connor command a brotherhood of ruthless wolves.

Judging by the look of things, Ubisoft seems to have gone completely bonkers with the DLC. Considering that this is an alternate universe, the developers don’t seem to be scared of including things that are pretty crazy.

The first part of the three-parter, dubbed Infamy, was released in February. In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, aka Connor Kenway, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king, George Washington, has been crowned. The Infamy will take gamers through your quest to dethrone King Washington.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
